Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Vanguard & Segall Group Take Over 1401 Fleet Street this Fall

Completely Renovated Inner Harbor East Building Now Hosting Two Company Headquarters and Award-Winning Restaurant.

Vanguard Retail Development, Inc., and Segall Group announced today that both Baltimore-based real estate companies relocated their headquarters to a new co-owned property at 1401 Fleet Street in Baltimore, Md. They are joined by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, which opened its first Baltimore location in the building on September 22.

Vanguard and Segall Group share equal ownership of 1401 Fleet Street in Fells Point, a two-story, 15,700-square-foot building near the burgeoning Harbor East neighborhood. Both companies will use office space on the second floor of the building, which underwent a total interior renovation, for their new corporate headquarters. Vanguard Architects, LLC, designed the new space, which was built by Vanguard Commercial Development, Inc.

Segall Group opened its 3,800-square-foot headquarters in August. Vanguard moved to its new 3,000-square-foot headquarters on November 10, making the building 100% occupied.

The ground floor of the building hosts Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, a Syracuse, N.Y.-based restaurant that serves award-winning barbeque, homemade sides, and local and regional craft beers. The 8,200-square-foot eatery will be the ninth location for Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, which was named the country’s best barbeque restaurant by Good Morning America and recognized for having one of the top 10 barbeque sauces by Country Living.
